Manchester Vineyard is seeking a Programmes Manager to lead and develop impactful initiatives at our vibrant 422 Community Hub. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on bringing hope, support, and opportunity to the people of Manchester—especially those facing socio-economic hardship.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be at the heart of our mission, designing and delivering community programmes that:
● Ensure the hub reflects a welcoming, inclusive, and user-centered environment
● Provide practical support and promote wellbeing
● Foster long-term resilience, particularly for children and families
● Build strategic partnerships with local organisations
● Inspire and lead teams of staff and volunteers
● Manage programme budgets and track impact
● Help shape the future of our hub and wider community engagement
Key Responsibilities
● Create an environment that is warm, welcoming, inclusive that encourages users to return.
● Develop, coordinate and evaluate inclusive community programmes
● Build strong relationships with local charities, councils, schools, and partners
● Recruit, train and support an incredible volunteer team
● Lead on funding applications, budget planning, and sustainability strategies
● Collaborate with colleagues to ensure our café and spaces are welcoming and safe
● Use communications tools (social media, newsletters, web) to tell our story and grow engagement
