What To Expect

If you are looking for a church or exploring the Christian faith you are very welcome at our church. It can be daunting coming to a Sunday gathering for the first time. We aim to make your visit as accessible as possible by letting you know exactly what’s involved.

We meet at Dean Trust Ardwick. There is plenty of parking and there will be team ready to guide you to a space. On arrival, you will be welcomed with free, light refreshments.

Our Sunday gathering starts at 10.30am, with refreshments from 10am. The format is very informal and there is no ‘dress code’ as such – we take a relaxed approach. If you can’t make it in person we also stream it live online here.

We start with a time of worship, which lasts for about 30 minutes. After worship there will be a short talk based on the bible and experiences of following Jesus in a practical and relevant way, followed by an opportunity to receive prayer.

The gathering will officially end at around midday, and there will be light refreshments available free of change.

Live Stream

We will be live streaming Sunday meetings here: Manchester Vineyard Live Stream and on our app that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google App Store by searching for ‘Manchester Vineyard’.

Joining A Team

There are plenty of teams you can join to help us make sure everyone feels welcome and that everything runs smoothly. From helping people park their cars, serving tea and coffee, getting all the chairs set up, welcoming people as they arrive and directing them to a seat, to helping with sound and media or serving in Vineyard Kids, there really is a job for everyone. It’s a great place to meet others and be part of the church family. If you would like to get involved in serving on a Sunday team, join in.

Vineyard Kids

Vineyard Kids is aimed at those aged 6 months to 11 years and sign in starts at 10.15am.  They meet in the room(s) outside the main meeting room. Vineyard Kids will run for the full length of the gathering, allowing the children to have a space best suited to their needs and allowing them to grow in their relationship with Jesus. There are separate toilets for the kids and the area will be run by the Manchester Vineyard Kids Team. Get in touch to find out more about Vineyard Kids.

If it’s your first time, one of the team will meet you at the main entrance and show you where to register your children.

Youth

Youth meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month after worship. Those aged 11-18 are invited to meet with the Youth Team in one of the rooms outside the main meeting room.

If it’s your first time, please chat to a member of the welcome team who will introduce you to the Youth Team.

Students

If you are a student in Manchester or moving here to study, we’d love to hear from you. We truly believe that this could be one of the most formative and important times of your life and we would love to share in the journey. As well as being welcome to join any of our small groups, we also run a number of student specific events throughout the year. Get in touch to find out more about Students.
