Safeguarding Policy
We take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and are committed to making Manchester Vineyard a safe space for everyone. Our Safeguarding Statement details our commitment to dealing with concerns raised.
As followers of Jesus we are keen to follow Him in sharing God’s love and care for everyone that comes into contact with us, particularly children and adults with additional care and support needs. We believe that we should work together to prevent abuse from occurring and that we should seek to protect those that are at risk of being abused and respond well to those that have been abused. The welfare of children, young people and adults with additional care and support needs is always paramount and should take precedence over all other considerations.
Staff and volunteers are trained and committed to working together to build an environment and culture that is safe. Appropriate checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service are made wherever appropriate. Each member of our Kids and Youth teams has an enhanced disclosure check
We are committed to reviewing our policy and good practice regularly. Should you wish to have a copy of our Safeguarding Policy please email: safeguarding@manchestervineyard.org
