November – what’s coming up….

Bonfire Night | Friday 5th November | mvuk.org/Bonfire

Bonfire night is just a great excuse to hang out together! If you fancy joining, there’ll be a bonfire, fireworks, a heap load of hotdogs and assorted sugary treats, hot drinks, and of course, some good conversation.

We’ve deliberately started early so families with little ones can be involved, but if you can’t get there at 5:30pm, just turn up whenever you can. We’ll make sure the food and drink keep flowing throughout. The only fixed points in the evening will be the lighting of the bonfire 6:00pm, and rumour has it a there may be the odd Catherine wheel around 7:00pm. Who knows?

Do feel free to invite friends and family, and we look forward to seeing you there!

The Cause to Live For: 19th – 20th November
a gathering in Nottingham for young adults across the Vineyard movement.
So much of our culture, our political landscape, our social context and our economic climate is in turmoil. In these turbulent times we have a choice to make. This is our time for the hope we have and the hope we carry to emerge. For the sake of our towns, our cities, our universities, our workplaces, for ourselves and those around us, we need to put hope on display. The hope we find in Jesus is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.
Head to www.causetolivefor.org.uk for the latest info and to book your place. Don’t miss it!

Welcome Dinner | Friday 27th November, 8pm
If you’re new or exploring the church, we’d love to invite you to have a home cooked meal with us. Paul and Steph will share their story, their vision for the church and how you can get more involved. It’s a great opportunity to meet some of the team as well as others who are making Manchester Vineyard their home. Sign up at mvuk.org/Welcome.
